One important difference is that Piet Arion is pronouncing perfect French. Dimash is a prodigy but the language barrier is making him develop his career in oriental Asia, in countries like China and, of course, Kazakhstan. Piet has an incredible range. Pretty impresive, though it is very difficult to make these ultra-high notes work in song in a way the final sound is coherent.

He has to be one of the best artists of the modern age but is still not really know worldwide. He is more known for his work as guitarist for Sabaton and more recently as head of Majestica, but having said that, he is receiving many more followers on his channel due to others reacting to his songs, so thank you for your reaction. We, his fans, are still waiting for him to take Eurovision by storm! 😂❤ I have been a massive Phantom fan from the very beginning (from the Michael Crawford & Sarah Brightman original) and I have to say that Tommy did an absolutely amazing job covering both parts and blowing that final Christine buildup/final note out of the damned water!!! I have seen Phantom live so many times over the years, and apart from the original West End production, there has only ever been one production I have seen live that rivalled it…that being a very local, very small town production which had phenomenal vocalists, sets etc., but Tommy just transcends them all considering he does the duet solo! BTW…He and Floor Jansen work together a lot (considering she is married to Hannes from Sabaton)….he has done a lot of her musical arrangements and production over the last few years.

When Tim sings the higher parts, Austin will sing the lower tenor, Rob will drop down and sing baritone and Chance will sing bass. You have to remember that Tim Foust is a contra-bass and Austin Brown is a high Tenor.

This was filmed on the deck of Austin's home outside of Nashville, Tennessee. If you swing the camera to the right you'd see his fishing pond. A lot of his videos are filmed in those areas, with a background of either woods or water. I think it was this video which led to the birth of their studio group Sweet + Low Music Co. They posted their shows, of a sort, online with Patreon subscribers getting the 3+ hours. Tim's sister-in-law and father-in-law were also in that group.

It's funny that you have two of the highest tenor voices ever in Austin and Chris, and the bass takes the falsetto. Ha!

I'm not sure if I have ever heard the Brooks and Dunn version, but am very familiar with the B.W. Stevenson one. It is a fun, peppy song sure to put you in a good mood!

Sebastian's hand wasn't broken, but burned badly (in a kitchen fire, I believe). It took a long time to heal. If you watch closely in Austin's "Bring Him Home" video, you cam see the scarred hand as be plays piano. Sebastian is an impressive pianist!

Yes, Tim really has an amazing range. The cicadas really come about every year when it gets super hot in Late June/July/August in my state of Virginia (I'm in the southern part of VA) and these guys were in Tennessee which borders Virginia. It can get very noisy, especially in the afternoon/evenings here in the south.

It is a recording, not live. They might have just recorded it in Austin’s set up. If you listen closely, you can hear a second guitar during the solo.. They are all really great at lip singing. They do sing live to the track playing.

I have had the pleasure of hearing this one live, and sitting just a few feet away. Tim’s speaking voice is so deep. But when he hits those high notes, they are spot on-amazing!

The keyboard player, Sebastien, often accompanies Austin on his solo performances. Austin is wearing a bolo, a western style of necktie.

I actually remember the original of "My Maria" by B. W. Stevenson in 1973. Always loved this song. I was not familiar with the Brooks & Dunn version. I really loved this performance by Tim & Austin & the other guys. Liked Austin singing in his lower register. I don't think I have ever heard Tim sound so clear & crisp in his upper falsetto range. Who would ever believe that he is a natural bass who can drop down into the basement depths. Wouldn't it be cool to have these guys perform for you at home?

Brooks & Dunn also had a big hit with it in the 90's.
